**Special note about weekly fluency homework**
Please be aware that your students will need your support for a few short minutes each night in order to complete the assignment correctly, and to gain the maximum amount of growth as readers. The same parent directions will be attached to the reading passage each week. If you have questions please do not hesitate to contact me. THE GREAT NEWS IS.... this is a wonderful way to support your child's growth as a reader and to see this growth in a short period of time! 
The next passage will come home next week (due to snow days and receiving the homework today, I did not have time to assess, choose new passages based on my assessments, and send them back out on the same day).
